Site work for the New Frito Lay Warehouse – Johnstown.

Berkebile Excavating was contracted by Nelson Family Enterprises from South Sioux City Nebraska to perform the items of work listed below. We pursued this project for over 2 years. The Nelson group builds warehouses all over the US for Frito Lay corporate and we were very excited to land this project.
- Grubbing, site excavation, foundation excavation and backfill, and topsoil replacement.
- E & S controls including a large stormwater management detention basin with bioretention soil mix and an underground infiltration trench with 24” perforated corrugated plastic pipe.
- Storm pipe & inlets, new sanitary line, and new domestic and fire protection waterlines.
- Place stone and grade for parking lot and under concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb, and building pad.
- Forming & pouring large emergency spillway structure for the bioretention pond.
